Personal Banker -- Osceola Jeffreys Drive Location
Our Osceola Jeffreys Drive location is looking for a full-time Personal Banker.
Job Description: As a Personal Banker, you will report directly to the Chief Credit Officer and Deposit Services Officer. Your duties will vary by providing support to the consumer lending areas of the Bank, the deposit area and new accounts, and loan administration support. The position will also focus on developing increased retention and growth in the consumer and residential loan areas and overall deposit areas of the bank. Over time you will devote much of your day to building long-term relationships with customers. This can be expected to be accomplished through providing excellent knowledgeable service, placing calls, and being active in the community.
This position requires compliance with the S.A.F.E. Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 and all related regulations. Ongoing employment is contingent upon meeting all such requirements, including acceptable background investigation results.

Your ability to progress and succeed will be directly related to your ability to accept coaching and performance feedback from your supervisor(s) to improve skills and performance.
Basic Qualifications: 5+ year experience selling products and services and 5+ year interacting with people or customers. 2- year minimum college business degree OR related education or experience is preferred.
Minimum Qualifications: Demonstrated ability to achieve individual goals. Demonstrated skill in use of computers and familiarity with Microsoft products. Positive approach to interactions with customers and team members. Reliable attendance; excellent communication skills. Ability to work a schedule that includes working Saturdays.
Preferred Skills:
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) Preferred
- Previous experience in retail sales or the financial industry.
- Previous experience meeting customer satisfaction goals.
Major Job Duties:
- Knowledgeable and skilled in the area of customer service and particularly lending and deposits.
- Assists in answering incoming telephone calls and providing customer service.
- Processes and prices new deposit account relationships within Bank policies and procedures.
- Cross sells Bank products and services and refers customers to appropriate staff for new services while participating in the Bank Incentive Bonus Plan.
- Performs primary and back-up loan administrative and clerical duties as assigned.
- Proficient at retaining and growing the branches high quality loan portfolio through gathering loan application information, analyzing the information, making loan recommendations or decisions within granted authority, and closing loans, concentrating on installment, retail, and real estate lending.
- Responsible for developing knowledge in banking compliance to maintain a low level of exceptions of violations.
- participates in weekly loan meetings.
- Performs any Bank related duties as needed and directed by management.
- Represent the Bank at professional, community, and social activities.
- Assists in carrying out the Bank’s operating plan to meet performance goals and objectives.
- Other duties as assigned.
